Research & System Design
We do a comprehensive research for the right system design, industrial design, user experience and so on to determine the design direction.
Then we prepare a technical report providing the design approach and system design details.

Concept & Industrial Design
The industrial design concepts are presented to the customer. We usually provide 2-3 design options.
Once you choose the design direction we work on the details prepare the final design renders.
Following this, we do a visual prototype to demonstrate the final design.

Mechanical Design
Once the industrial design is finished, we start mechanical design process.
We work on all the details to ensure the design is durable, strong and easy to produce and providing all the functionality smoothly.

Electronics & Software
After the system design is fixed, we start our schematic design.
We also start the software work in parallel. Usually we demonstrate the software on the chosen chipset demo boards.
Once mechanical design is ready we design the PCB. We prepare PCBA samples and test our software with the actual electronics.

Working Prototype
Once the mechanical design is done, PCBA is ready, we assembly all the mechanical and electronics parts together.
We confirm the assembly can be done properly, and functionality is as expected.
This is the closest sample to a mass produced product.
We confirm all the major issues prior to molding stage.

DFM & Molding
Upon the completion of the mechanical design, our mechanical engineers do reviews with our partner tooling vendors.
We finetune the mechanical design. and make sure that all the parts can be produced easily by the molds and assembled easily in production.
After DFM is completed, we kick off the molding process with our tooling vendors.

Testing & Certification
After the mold is finished, we inject the plastic and metal parts in several rounds.
In each round (T0, T1, T2) we test all the parts; shape, dimensions, and assembly, we adjust if necessary.
We also make complete working samples using the final injected parts.
We do function, performance, reliability, safety, emc tests. We obtain certifications related to the sales markets.

Pilot & Mass Production
After the product passes all the tests and certification process we perform a small quantity production Pilot Run with our contract manufacturers.
We optimize the production line, make sure the product can be produced smoothly before we scale up.
Following this we do start the mass production.
We also all the quality control during production and before shipment.

Will I be owning the IP of my product?
Yes you will be owning the Intellectual Property (IP) of your product. We will have all the agreements in place with the suppliers and all related sub-parties.
What are the costs of your services?
Our service costs depends on the requirements of the project. We calculate the complexity of the project, required time.
How long usually does a new product development take?
Usually the proof of concept demo takes 4-6 weeks due to complexity of the product.
To have the complete product designing from scratch to mass production can take 6 months up to 1 year.
If any changes are required after the project kick off, the duration can be more than 1 year.
I have my prototype ready and I know a manufacturer who can produce. Can I work with them directly?
Yes, of course you can directly go to your manufacturer to prepare for your production.
However there are many risks if it is first time working with a manufacturer directly.
Language and cultural barriers, lack of experience in managing a project, not seeing the risks of preparing the design to manufacturing can cause delays and increase development costs.
Do you do the packaging design as well?
Yes we can do the packaging design too. Depending on your requirements and packaging unit cost budget, we can provide stylish options, and beautiful designs matching your product.
What kind of support you provide after the mass production?
We provide free software maintanence for first free 6 months.
If we get your regular after sales data, failure rates, defects details, we follow up the problems with the related parties. We use a proactive continuous improvement plan and put corrective actions into live.
